A guide for the woman on a journey determined to find her inner Queen.

Who is God? A question whose answer could literally change your life. What we believe about God ultimately shapes what we believe about everything. What God isn't. God is not an angry being, up in the sky that is going to send you to hell because you had a few kids before you got married. God is NOT the universe. God is not mean and he doesn't wait for us to mess up. God isn't any of those mean things that we see on tv or that we have heard about. God is real. God is so much better, and bigger than what we can even articulate. God cares for you and for me. Yes the same humans who sin everyday. Yes, the lady that gossips and the man that sells weed on the corner. He loves them. He is no respecter of persons, meaning that he loves everyone the same, he DOES NOT show favoritism. Romans 2:11 King James Version (KJV) For there is no respect of persons with God. God wants to know you and he wants you to know him. He wants us to have a relationship with him. God is LOVE. God loved us so much that he sent his only son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. 1 John 4:7-10 New Living Translation (NLT) Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love. God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. He is a God of peace. He is not the author of confusion or disorder. 1 Corinthians 14:33 New Living Translation (NLT) For God is not a God of disorder but of peace, as in all the meetings of God’s holy people. God is the Creator. He spoke and there was light. He spoke and he separated the heavens from the waters and called it the sky. He spoke to the waters beneath the sky and told them to flow together into one place so dry ground could appear. He called the dry ground land. He called the waters "seas". He spoke up vegetation. He spoke for lights to be in the sky to separate what he called day and night. He called these lights the sun and the moon. He spoke and stars appeared. He spoke and life was given to the sky, to the seas, and to the land. Birds, fish, animals, etc. God created man and woman. Genesis 1:1-31 New Living Translation (NLT) God is. What is God? Who is God? He just is. God is existence. God is being. He simply is. How magnificent to know that God the one who created the entire world in six days by just speaking, wants to know me! He loves and cares for me! Little ole me! Little ole you! In the book of Exodus we are told about the time when God came to Moses in a blazing fire from the middle of a bush. Moses went to the bush and the Lord began to speak to him. God told Moses to go to Pharaoh in Egypt and to tell him to let the Israelites go. Moses replied " If I go to the people of Israel and tell them, 'The God of your ancestors has sent me to you,' they will ask me, 'What is his name?' Then what should I tell them?" God replied " I Am Who I Am. Say this to the people of Israel: I Am has sent me to you." OOO Goosebumps. So let's break down Gods reply to Moses. I Am who I Am. If you go to the google search bar and type in "Am" the definition will say singular present of be. Click the word "be" to see that definition and it says exist. That Queen, is who God is. What God is. He just is. He is existence. Nothing created God. When there was nothing else, there was God. Exodus 3:13-15 New Living Translation (NLT) But Moses protested, “If I go to the people of Israel and tell them, ‘The God of your ancestors has sent me to you,’ they will ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what should I tell them?” God replied to Moses, “I am who i am. Say this to the people of Israel: I am has sent me to you.” God also said to Moses, “Say this to the people of Israel: Yahweh,[b] the God of your ancestors—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you. This is my eternal name, my name to remember for all generations. God is outside of space and time . His ways? Oh they are higher than our ways. Infinite. Eternal. Not only is he a creator but THE Creator, he is also The Sustainer. The Sustainer who gives everyone life and breath and everything in between. In him we live, move and have our being. Acts 17:24-28 New Living Translation (NLT) “He is the God who made the world and everything in it. Since he is Lord of heaven and earth, he doesn’t live in man-made temples, and human hands can’t serve his needs—for he has no needs. He himself gives life and breath to everything, and he satisfies every need. From one man[a] he created all the nations throughout the whole earth. He decided beforehand when they should rise and fall, and he determined their boundaries. “His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him—though he is not far from any one of us. For in him we live and move and exist. As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’ God is our Heavenly Father. The perfect father. Everything you wanted your father to be, God is so much more than that. God is NOT a reflection of our natural fathers. He is literally the perfection of a father. God being our Heavenly Father means that he is near to us. He loves us. He wants the best for us. Hebrews 12:7-11 New Living Translation (NLT) As you endure this divine discipline, remember that God is treating you as his own children. Who ever heard of a child who is never disciplined by its father? If God doesn’t discipline you as he does all of his children, it means that you are illegitimate and are not really his children at all. Since we respected our earthly fathers who disciplined us, shouldn’t we submit even more to the discipline of the Father of our spirits, and live forever? For our earthly fathers disciplined us for a few years, doing the best they knew how. But God’s discipline is always good for us, so that we might share in his holiness. No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening—it’s painful! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way. God is Jesus. What? Don't get confused, stay with me. Jesus was the visible image of the invisible God. In human form. Tangible. Jesus was fully God and fully human. Jesus the Son of God. He was the epitome of how God wants us to be. To love each other like He loves us. Jesus suffered just like you and I suffered he just didn't sin. God wants us to follow Jesus' example of being a better human. He showed us his love in person. Jesus was that person. Colossians 1:15 New Living Translation (NLT) Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation As if God couldn't get any more descriptive; God is the Holy Spirit. God is three in one known as the Trinity. God exists as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. God the Father is our perfect Heavenly Father. God the Son is Jesus, God is with us. God the Holy Spirit is God in us. How amazing is that? God had a desire to move closer to us. He said that he'd never leave us or forsake us. But when we sinned we separated ourselves from God. So he sent his son Jesus to bridge that gap between him and man. Right before Jesus was about to leave this earth, he said that he was leaving us a comforter. Comforter known as Holy Spirt. God is with you. He is in you. He lives inside of us so that we would be empowered to do what he created us to do! John 14:16-17 New Living Translation (NLT) And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate,[a] who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you. Matthew 28:18-20 New Living Translation (NLT) Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Romans 8:11 New Living Translation (NLT) The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you. Wow. I'm flabbergasted. God is all of that? It's a lot to take in I know. It's overwhelming. It's awesome. It's love. Right now, you may be confused and you may read this over again. Do it. Do it until you understand. Understanding God is directly correlated to how we live our lives. Now that you know all of this, you can now live your life knowing that God isn't big, scary and mean. But that he loves you enough to want to be near you. That even though man sinned against him, he still loved us. He did so much that he sent Jesus to be a bridge to save us from our sins so that he could be close to us. No matter what you did, are doing now, or will do God loves you. When Jesus was about to leave earth he sent his spirit to live inside of us. Not only is he with us but in us. Powerful. I'm speechless writing this and I've been knowing the Lord for quite a while now. Take a chance on God. Begin to ask questions. The verses that I have placed in here, look them up for yourself. Don't just take my word for it. You have nothing to lose. Until next time Queens! Be Blessed. Shania Natee' Xoxo
