Prayer. /prer/ Noun.
What is prayer?

Prayer is an essential part of a Christian lifestyle. It is simply a means of communication. Just like we talk to a close friend on the phone, we use prayer as a direct line to the father! Now remember that a conversation consists of talking and listening. Once we are finished praying to him we must also take time to listen to his response.
Psalms 138:3 NLT
As soon as I pray, you answer me; you encourage me by giving me strength.
Isaiah 58:9 NLTY
Then when you call. the Lord will answer. 'Yes, I am here,' he will quickly reply. "Remove the heavy yoke of oppression. Stop pointing your finger and spreading vicious rumors!
Why Do We Pray?

Prayer builds our relationship with God. When you are in a relationship you have to communicate with your significant other, it's the same thing with God. When you are in constant communication with the Lord, he will reveal himself to you. He will give you instruction, strategy, and insight. These are key things that we need so that we are able to function at full capacity.
Philippians 4:6 NLT
Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.
1 Thessalonians 5: 17 NLT
Never stop praying.
What Happens When We Pray?

Three things happen when we pray. First, God listens. Secondly, God responds by moving on our behalf. Lastly, the enemy trembles. Not because of us but because our prayers move the hand of God. The response that God has as a result of our prayers is what makes the enemy tremble.
John 15:7 NLT
But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!
Matthew 18:19 NLT
"I also tell you this: If two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you.
Matthew 21:22 NLT
"You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it."
How Do We Pray?

Talk to God in a way in which you are the most comfortable. Find a quiet space, open up your heart and talk to the Lord. There is no wrong way to pray. The lord knows your heart he just wants you to go to him!
Matthew 6:6 NLT
But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your father in private. Then your father, who sees everything, will reward you.
Matthew 6:10-13
The Lord's Prayer
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Until Next Time Queens. Be Blessed.
